Q: Are there character limit/word count limits on user-generated text?

A: Yes, we do impose character limits on some pieces of member-generated text.

For petitions, our limits are:

Ended Story/Ended Reason	5000
Image description (admin only)	255

For events, we limit the title of the event to 255 characters.

For groups, we limit the group name to 255 characters.

For blast emails, we limit the subject line to 255 characters.
