Manual Unsubscribe
While we include unsubscribe links in all emails that are sent from the ControlShift platform, some members will undoubtedly email admins asking to be unsubscribed from campaign updates. There are two main routes admins can use to handle unsubscribe requests.
First, to unsubscribe a user from a single petition, an org admin can go to a petition > Admin > Signatures > search for the user's email address > Unsubscribe.
Please note: This will only unsubscribe the user from that individual petition. If the user has signed other campaigns, and is subscribed to their updates, they'll continue to receive emails about these other campaigns.
Admins are also able to unsubscribe a user from all updates from ControlShift. To perform a 'global unsubscribe', go to the admin homepage > search for the user's email address in the search box in the header > go to their member page > Unsubscribe From All. This will prevent the user from receiving any updates about any campaigns they've signed. Note that if the user signs a new campaign and opts to receive that campaign's updates, they'll be re-subscribed.
