It's possible for admins to pre-filter event lookup pages, including the local organizing map (/local), the public-facing all events page (/events), calendar lookup pages (/calendar/foo), and embedded maps to only show events (and/or groups) in one state.
To pre-filter these lists, you'll need to append ?filter[geographies]=[####] to the URL of the appropriate lookup page. For example, to pre-filter our demo site's all events page to only show New York events, we'd update the URL to be: https://demo.controlshiftlabs.com/events?filter[geographies]=[1242].
