Updates / Bug Fixes

• When a user is setting the password for their account, they will now have the option to view the password they've typed, instead of needing to retype it in a "password confirmation" field. This should make it easier for your supporters to complete the account signup flow. †
  
  
• By default, the agree to terms and conditions checkbox will no longer be shown to users signing up through the recruited hosts activation flow, creating an account from the event attendee registration flow, or creating an account from the local chapter member registration flow. We'd previously removed the checkbox from the normal user account creation page. If needed, an organization can still show the checkbox by enabling it from your organization's Settings > Options > Membership.
  
  
• We've improved the user experience for supporters activating their accounts (via the recruited hosts flow) when EU data processing consent is required.
  
  
• We now escape custom field labels to prevent HTML from being inserted into the page by admins.
  
  

• We've updated the current user's name display in the mentor dropdown to read "FirstName LastName."

• We've fixed a bug that was causing certain validation error messages to display in English, regardless of the user's selected language.
  
  
• We've fixed the placement of the "required" asterisk symbol for certain checkboxes on signature and RSVP forms.
  
  
• For some customers who had previously used another CRM and then switched to using ActionNetwork, we did not sync unsubscribes to ActionNetwork properly when a member who had previously been synced to the first CRM then tried to unsubscribe. This is now fixed and we properly handle this situation.

Petitions

• We're now including a petition's image description (set from the petition > Admin > Settings) as alt text for the image when sharing on Twitter. This will improve the experience for supporters using screen readers on Twitter.
  
  
• We've fixed a bug where admins with the configure settings permission for Petitions could not configure after-signing options for a petition.

Events

• We've made a number of improvements to the local organizing map (/local) to improve page load speeds and displays.
  
  
• The local organizing map (/local) can now be filtered by geography, allowing organizations to restrict results to a single geographic region like a US State.
  
  
• The page counts on the local organizing map (/local) will appear now in one row.
  
  
• We've added the ability to filter the org admin events list to show only events that have been featured. †
  
  
• We've fixed errors that occurred when syncing events and RSVPs to EveryAction/VAN when related Person records had been merged within EveryAction/VAN.
  
  
• We've fixed an error that was preventing admins from adding labels to external events.
  
  
• We've fixed an issue that prevented the event imports page from loading when a user who had previously preformed an event import was subsequently deleted.
