Platform
New
- We've added a new admin search feature to help you quickly find the campaigns and member activity you're looking for. Enter your search into the new header Search field on any admin page to see the results!
Currently we show matching petitions, events, members, and blast emails. Stay tuned for more to be added! †
Updates / Bug Fixes
- Translation updates – thank you, as always, to everyone who helps keep our translations up to date.
- It's now possible to update an existing webhook endpoint to use a different URL than the one you initially set up, without deleting the endpoint and creating a new one.
- We've made improvements to the process for sending very large blast emails. The updates should improve delivery speed. We've also improved our checks and fixed a bug that could cause the same blast email to be delivered to some recipients multiple times for very large (1M+) petitions if the email was approved for sending during a code deploy.
- We've updated the way Google Tag Manager is loaded, so that it's not double loaded if a customer is connecting to GTM via Segment.
- We've updated platform headers to remove icon images and replace them with a font icon. This should increase page load speeds.
Petitions
Updates / Bug Fixes
- We've updated the way we call the recipient count for blast emails. This change fixes a timeout issue that could occur when creating a new blast email for very large petitions.
- We've updated the way we load the admin signatures tab. This should prevent the signatures tab from timing out for large petitions.
Events
Updates / Bug Fixes
- External events (events from EveryAction and Mobilize) can now be labeled within ControlShift. To add a label to the external event, click the admin button on the event's row in the all events admin page. Adding labels to external events will allow admins to easily find and track external events.
- It is now possible to associate an external event with a local group in ControlShift. To add an external event to a local group, click the admin button on the event's row in the all events admin page. In the admin view for the external event, you'll be asked to complete the URL of the local group. Please note: the connection between external events and local groups is currently only visible to admins. We'll be releasing another update shortly that will make the event visible on public-facing local group pages.
Nothing new in groups or VisitThem.
† This feature required new text strings. If you're using the platform in a language other than English, you may need to provide updated translations.
