We've added admin notes to the moderation queue. When moderating a petition, event, or email, admins can now leave notes for other moderators. Any notes added from the moderation queue will be visible in the admin view of the petition/event/email.
Updates / Bug Fixes
- We've made various infrastructure updates to improve performance, stability, and accessibility.
- Updated translations.
- Previously, the notifications tab on the My Account page would show all notifications options as being checked even if the user had not yet saved their notification preferences. Now we'll only show the notification methods that the user has actually enabled.
- Organizations will not see the option to draw a boundary box unless they have the Mapbox integration enabled.
- We've released a new privacy setting that allows organizations to hide action takers' names from public view. Among other changes, this allows organizations to hide the 'Recent Signers' section of the petition signature page. However, please note that completely hiding action takers' names from the public will disable all forums, including event and group forums.
Petitions
Updates / Bug Fixes
- We've updated the admin notes feature used on petitions. Previously, the admin notes field was an unstructured text field. Now, admin notes are threaded and it's possible to see which admin authored each note.
- We've updated how we handle admin notes from since-deleted admins. We'll now preserve the note, but remove the former admin's personal information.
Events
Updates / Bug Fixes
- Admins can now add admin notes to events. If you're interested in adding a note to an event, you can do so from the moderation queue or from the event's admin page.
Nothing new in groups or VisitThem.
† This feature required new text strings. If you're using the platform in a language other than English, you may need to provide updated translations.
