Platform
Updates / Bug Fixes
- In the organization combined name, which is a formula that looks like "{organization name} and {parent name}", the "and" was hardcoded into English. It's now translatable. †
- The member admin and teams pages are now mobile responsive.
Petitions
New
- We've added support for a Freshchat integration. This integration allows organizations to add a chat widget to the start a campaign and petition creator tools pages. The widget will allow members who are creating petitions or managing their campaigns to chat with staff members.
For customers affected by GDPR, please note that Freshdesk is not an authorized subprocessor. Instead, it's considered a third-party integration. It is the customer's responsibility to investigate and ensure the security and GDPR compliance of any third party integration. (More info: https://controlshiftlabs.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360000175976-ControlShift-Authorized-Subprocessors.)
To get started, go to Settings > Integrations. †
Updates / Bug Fixes
- We've added two new filters to the All petitions page. Admins can now filter petitions based on creation date and whether or not the petitions are part of an effort or landing page. †
- Organizations can now include a final GDPR opt-in ask in the thank you for signing email. This ask is only shown if the user didn't opt-in at the time of signing. We'll post a help document about this feature soon, and you can also email support@controlshiftlabs.com for more information.
- For RTL languages, the "Why is this important?" header in the petition delivery pdf wasn't bold and had HTML exposed. This is fixed.
Events
New
- Event hosts are now able to send blast emails to their attendees. This feature mimics the petition blast email feature and allows event hosts to communicate without starting a new thread in the discussion forum that anyone can reply to. †
Updates / Bug Fixes
- Host instructions were not properly shown on geography-bound calendar events. We've updated the code and the host instructions are being shown for geography-based events.
- The All events list can now be filtered by when the event is happening. †
- We've made more updates to the event moderation queue. Now, when you click to Moderate an event, you'll see a details modal instead of being sent to the event page. The modal will include any information that we have about the event. This page is part of our new admin screens layout, so is mobile responsive. †
- The event settings page has been updated to new styles and is now responsive.
Nothing new in groups or VisitThem.
† This feature required new text strings. If you're using the platform in a language other than English, you may need to provide updated translations.
