Platform
Updates / Bug Fixes
- Infrastructure improvements. These improvements include the database upgrade that we performed during our annual maintenance window on 1 January. We've also updated our search infrastructure.
- We've added support for Authy One Touch. Now, when org admins log into the platform, they'll receive a push notification on their phone asking them to approve the Authy request. Clicking to Approve the request will bypass the need to enter the 7-digit Authy code. You can learn more about Authy One Touch here: https://authy.com/blog/authy-onetouch-modern-authentication-for-any-application. We strongly recommend that all organization administrators/team members enable Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) on their accounts. For more information about 2FA and how to set it up on your ControlShift account, please see: https://controlshiftlabs.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/206542558-Two-Factor-Authentication.
- We've updated the links included in automatic emails sent to org admins to use https. This won't change user experiences (because users would have been directed to the https version of your site anyway), but it may improve email deliverability.
- We've fixed an error that appeared when admins clicked to update previously-customized Terms of Service or Privacy Policies. While the updated content was saved, admins would see an error page if this was the first time the content had been updated since we implemented version tracking in advance of the GDPR.
Petitions
Updates / Bug Fixes
- We've updated the way images are displayed on the My Campaigns view. Previously, these images were often stretched and distorted, but they will now vary in size to help ensure that they are displayed appropriately.
- We've fixed the styling of the sign button on the embedded petition form.
- When a decision maker was attached to a petition, the List Petitions in Category JSON endpoint would crash. We've updated the model to appropriately handle decision makers.
Events
Updates / Bug Fixes
- We've updated the links included in automatic emails sent to event hosts and attendees to use https. This won't change user experiences (because users would have been directed to the https version of your site anyway), but it may improve email deliverability.
- For organizations using incremental and nightly CSV exports, we're now including the Calendars table in the exports.
- We've released two new authenticated API endpoints
/api/v1/events/foo
andapi/v1/calendars/foo
. More information will be added to our developer docs (http://developers.controlshiftlabs.com) soon.
Groups
Updates / Bug Fixes
- We've updated the links included in automatic emails sent to group members to use https. This won't change user experiences (because users would have been directed to the https version of your site anyway), but it may improve email deliverability.
TakeCharge
Updates / Bug Fixes
- Receipt emails were not being sent to TakeCharge donors. We've updated the configuration and processed the emails from the last few days.
Nothing new in VisitThem.
