Platform
Updates / Bug Fixes
- Petition webhooks now include information about landing page, effort, and partnership associations.
- We've released a new invitation feature. In the past, when you wanted to add a new org admin, you had to ask the person to create an account, then they'd need to send you an email letting you know that they'd created the account, and then you'd give them privileges. Now you can just send them an email inviting them to the platform. When they use the link in that email to create an account, they'll automatically be given admin privileges. More.
- Our email validator was briefly allowing incomplete emails. We've updated the code, and only complete emails will be accepted.
- Infrastructure maintenance and updates.
Petitions
Updates / Bug Fixes
- We've made a few changes to the spam petitions view:
- In the Not Spam view, we now only include petitions with the moderation status "Unreviewed". This should help prevent org admins from accidentally marking already approved petitions as spam.
- In the Spam view, we were showing all petitions that had ever been marked as spam, even if they had been remoderated later. We now only show the petitions that are *currently* marked as spam.
- We've reconfigured the petition creation workflow to ask not-logged-in users to sign up for an account, instead of asking them to sign in. We made this change based on the results of an A/B test we conducted. If you have other A/B tests you think we should run, send us an email (support@controlshiftlabs.com).
Nothing new in events, groups, or TakeCharge.
