Updates / Bug Fixes
- We have a new Polish translation! We owe a big thank you to Ackja Demokracja, and their team of merry volunteers, for completing the translation. We know it's not fun or easy, so thank you!
- We've added a new JSON endpoint for petition search results. The address for the new endpoint is [your CSL petition site]/petitions/search.json. For example, https://demo.controlshiftlabs.com/petitions/search.json.
- On member info pages, we were accidentally exposing html on the unsubscribe buttons. We've fixed it and the html is hidden again.
Petitions
NEW
- We've updated the target creation/recruitment workflow for efforts. The new workflow is more intuitive and less repetitive than it was before.
Updates / Bug Fixes
- We've added support for disclaimers that are only shown on embedded petition forms. To set up a disclaimer for embedded petitions, go to the disclaimers section in the options tab of your settings page.
- If an inappropriate petition is edited, but is still inappropriate, we no longer send an additional 'Your Petition is Inappropriate' notification email.
- When a user clicks to share a petition on Twitter, we use the language that they're viewing the site in to determine what language is used in the Twitter popup.
- For organizations using ActionKit, we now pass URL AKIDs through an effort's target creation process. This should allow you to better track supporters' actions.
- For efforts, we support a new search strategy – keyword searches. Instead of searching by location, users can enter a keyword to search for relevant petitions. This new search strategy, in addition to location-less targets, should allow for different types of templatized campaigns.
Nothing new in events, groups, or TakeCharge.
