This weekly update is a few days late due to summer holidays.

Platform

The platform now includes an authenticated API that can be used to more thoroughly integrate other tools into your site. More details are available in our developer documentation.

The platform now consistently uses mobile responsive login and registration forms in all cases. Previously responsive views were only shown via certain user journeys, and legacy screens were sometimes displayed.

For organisations that support multiple countries, admins and the member can now change the country associated with their user account via the admin tools and My Account.

Bug fix: We now allow longer reasons to be sent to the organisation when a member ends their campaign.
Various improvements to our integration with the NationBuilder CRM which should improve reliability of that sync. Specifically we now use the Person Add API method instead of implementing similar logic ourselves. We've also improved logging in your platform's CRM sync log of cases where NationBuilder's valdiations prevent members from being saved as NB People.
Various bug fixes relating to user account confirmation.
Several new API webhooks that should facilitate integrate with other tools.

Petitions

We've redesigned the petition admin settings form to have better help text and be easier to use.
When a petition starter downloads a printable paper petition signup form, the platform now uses a smarter mechanism to lay out the table with appropriate field lists.
A new option is available to include an ink signature field on the printable paper petition signup form.

We now show a more helpful error message when a member tries to lookup a nearby chapter, and no matching local group can be found in the local chapter collection.
