Platform
Updates / Bug Fixes
- Ongoing Decision Makers work. As previously mentioned, this work is part of a larger project that we'll announce at a later date.
- We've exposed a new variable that allows org admins to include last names in the automatic emails sent to petition creators and signers. This will be especially useful for organizations who are interested in offering the toolset in Japan.
- Updated Japanese, Dutch, and Romanian translations. H/t to Greenpeace Japan, Greenpeace Netherlands, and DE-CLIC.ro for their time in translating the tools.
Petitions
Updates / Bug Fixes
- Ongoing efforts improvements. Included in this round of work:
- Unlaunched petitions are added to the Abandoned petitions view after they have been left in a draft state for more than one hour. Once the petition is added to the Abandoned view, org admins will be guided through a workflow wherein they can decide what to do with the unlaunched petition: delete or save it, keep or remove the leader, and publish or unpublish the target.
- Petition PDFs for Japanese petitions were not displaying Japanese characters correctly. We've updated the font we use for Japanese PDFs to ensure the characters are correctly displayed.
- When a user views the site in Japanese, we no longer italicize any text.
Events
Updates / Bug Fixes
- On the admin page of a partner event, the Remove button had exposed html. We've hidden that pesky bit of code.
TakeCharge
Updates / Bug Fixes
- The URsL included in the confirm account and unsubscribe emails were not working correctly. We've fixed these URLs and users should be able to confirm their account normally.
- The button that allows org members to invite additional TakeCharge users did not work as expected. We've corrected the issue and members should now be able to invite additional users.
Nothing new in groups.
