Updates / Bug Fixes
- When users create an account from Facebook we ask for their postcode. We used to always say 'postcode' which wasn't ideal for US-based customers. We now use whatever's entered into the postcode content included in CMS. (So the registration page will match the word you use on the signature page.)
Petitions
Updates / Bug Fixes
- On going efforts improvements. We'll detail all of these changes once we've completed this work.
- When viewing a petition's manage page, there wasn't an Admin button. This meant that admins had to click to 'view' before going to the admin page. This wasn't a big deal, but it was annoying, so we've added the Admin button to manage pages where appropriate.
- We've made some additional changes to petitions' admin views. Some of the larger changes:
- The campaign creator and any additional admins are more prominently displayed.
- We've added a new "Associations" section to the page. From here, you can quickly add the petition to a partnership, group and/or landing page and view any associated events. If you need to remove a petition from an association, you can also do that from the admin page.
- Petition admins can now add users to leaderless petitions through the petition's Admin page. (Usually these leaderless petitions will be petitions in an effort.)
- We've hidden some of the tech bits behind an "Expand" button. You don't usually care what the IP address of the petition creator was, so we've moved it down the page.
- We've added a longer warning about deleting petitions. (tl;dr: deleting petitions is final — be sure that you're sure.)
- Deleting a category didn't update the signature pages of petitions included in that category. This meant that the category was still listed on the petition page and still clickable (though it led to a 404). We've updated the code and petition pages are now updated when categories are deleted.
Events
Updates / Bug Fixes
- You can now detach an event from a petition. To un-associate an event from a petition, go to the petition's admin page, scroll to the Associations section, and click the x button.
Nothing new in groups or TakeCharge.
