Are you sick of typing the same "This campaign is not appropriate" message when moderating inappropriate petitions?
If so, good news: we've made some changes to the inappropriate petition moderation workflow.
The first of these changes is the ability to set default 'why is this petition inappropriate' text. To set a default message, click the Edit Default Inappropriate Message link that's visible from the petition moderation queue. Enter your organization's default text and hit Save. After the default message has been set, the message box will pre-fill when clicking to moderate a petition as inappropriate. If you need to edit the default message at any time, just click the same Edit Default Inappropriate Message link.
This expanded inappropriate petition moderation view also includes a preview of the email that will be sent to the petition creator upon moderation. Included in this update is the ability to edit the text of the inappropriate petition email. To edit the email, click the Edit Inappropriate Email Template link. You can also edit this template by going to the admin homepage > CMS > Content > Email > Inappropriate Content Message.
Finally, with this update, you can also skip the notification email altogether. If you don't want the petition creator to be notified that their email has been found inappropriate, just check the Skip notification email checkbox before clicking save.
