By default, the petitions included in a landing page or effort's hub page are displayed with the most recently created petitions at the top of the page. While this is useful for showcasing recently active campaigns, it can also lead to larger petitions being hidden on another page of results.
To give you more control over how the petitions in a landing page or effort are displayed, we've added a new field to the LP/effort's settings page (accessible by going to the admin homepage, clicking "Efforts" or "Landing Pages," choosing the appropriate campaign, clicking "Edit," and going to the "Settings" tab).
The new field, "Default Petitions Sort," lets you specify the sort order that you'd like to use. At the moment, we support "signatures" and "created_at" (the default sort order). To display the petitions with the most signatures at the top of the hub page, use "signatures" as the sort order. If you leave this field blank, petitions will be sorted by most recent creation date.
