Platform
Updates / Bug Fixes
- We've made a few updates to platform translations: the log-in with Facebook button is now translatable and translations of categories are now used on the create a campaign page.
Petitions
Updates / Bug Fixes
- Organization admins can now hide a petition's recent signers list. This may be useful if the targeted community is small/close-knit and there are concerns about retribution. For more information about hiding recent signers, please see: https://controlshiftlabs.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/204911197#recent.
- For organizations not using a join organization checkbox, signatures entered manually (via the offline signatures tool) were being automatically unsubscribed from updates. This is now fixed.
- Petition signatures were failing if the petition URL included a bucket that was longer than 50 characters. We'll now truncate buckets to 255 characters, and the signature will go through.
Events
Updates / Bug Fixes
- Org admins can now override post-RSVP actions for all events or for individual events. To set global post-RSVP actions for all events, go to the admin homepage > Post Action Flow. To override the post-RSVP actions for an individual event, go to the event's admin page > Settings tab.
- We've updated the mobile view of an event's Manage tabs.
Groups
Updates / Bug Fixes
- We've released new local group webhooks for local_chapter.organiser_request.approved, local_chapter.member.created, and local_chapter.member.deleted.
TakeCharge
Updates / Bug Fixes
- TakeCharge donation totals were not being correctly calculated. We've upgraded the system that stores aggregate donation totals, and these totals should be correct now. For more information, please see: http://status.controlshiftlabs.com/incidents/fhc13kszp79r.
VisitThem
Updates / Bug Fixes
- Organizations running a campaign can now restrict visits to a certain date range.
- Organizations running a campaign can now suggest or require a specific date and time for a visit.
- We've increased the sources we check for congressional events. We're now scraping Facebook and .gov sites to look for newly announced events. Org admins can now see the complete list of events that we have in the platform.
- Org admins now have more control over the way their campaign's homepage and individual visit pages are shared on social media.
- We've added a new configurable content section, which allows admins to customize the visit confirmation page.
