Platform
Updates / Bug Fixes
- Infrastructure improvements.
- For customers syncing data with NationBuilder, the new members to list stats were not updating.
- Users who were partnership admins and had also been granted admin permissions through the teams feature were automatically able to view the admin page listing all calendars on the platform. These users were able to create new calendars (a permission they receive by being a partner admin), but were not able to edit existing calendars or view admin details beyond the /org/calendars page. We've updated the permissions structure so admins are no longer able to see /org/calendars unless they've been giving the appropriate permission through teams.
- We now have an initial Hebrew translation! H/t to Zazim for their work on providing the translation.
- We've updated our Spanish translations. If you're using the platform in Spanish, it should now be fully translated and use consistent terminology.
- Continuing our translations theme, there are recent updates to Greek (thanks to GP Greece), Polish (thanks to Akcja Demokracja), Japanese (thanks to GP Japan), Romanian (thanks to De Clic), and Swedish (thanks to Skiftet).
Petitions
Updates / Bug Fixes
- For petitions set up to send messages to the decision maker, messages were getting incorrectly marked as spam. This was because our spam filter saw the same messages going out many times and thought it seemed suspicious. To help admins mitigate this, you can now see a list of messages that have not been sent (whether because of spam or because of vulgarity). From this new screen, you can also approve messages that were flagged as inappropriate, but should be sent. To access the list of rejected messages, go to the petition's admin page, click the "Letters to decision maker" tab, and go to the "Automatically Rejected" sub tab.
Clicking the arrow button will expand the message and clicking to "Approve" will send the message to the decision maker.
Events
Updates / Bug Fixes
- When creating an event, we display a time picker modal. However, the arrows stopped being displayed, which made it difficult for people to set their events to the correct time. We've added them back.
VisitThem
Updates / Bug Fixes
- We're continuing to build out the organizational campaign portion of VisitThem.org. Once built, this will allow organizations to create campaigns asking their members to visit congressional offices. We'll let you know once this fully launches.
Nothing new in groups or TakeCharge.
