Platform
Updates / Bug Fixes
- Infrastructure improvements.
- Per feedback, we've made additional style changes to the site directory (categories) page.
Petitions
Updates / Bug Fixes
- Signatures that result from the promoted petitions modal are now tagged with specific bucket and source codes so that you know where the signatures are coming from. The bucket will read "bucket=promote_from_foo" where foo is the name of the petition that they signed before seeing the promoted petitions modal. The source will be "source=after-signing-promote-modal." (Very imaginative, we know.)
- We've added two new after-signing daisy chains, which work with the Promoted Petitions feature. The new daisy chains, share-welcome-suggest and share-donate-suggest, allow you to ask users to share the campaign on social media, show a welcome message/ask for a donation, and then highlight a promoted petition. These daisy chains can be enabled globally (admin homepage -> After Signing) or for a single petition (petition -> Admin -> Settings -> After Signing). †
- Organizations using the platform in more than one language are able to update a petition's locale. This update was only partially recorded in the campaign's history page (we'd add a new, blank record). While we love a bit of mystery, we're now including an explanation of what happened.
- When landing pages are configured to not ask for the locations of campaigns, it's no longer possible to use a location-based search strategy. †
VisitThem
Updates / Bug Fixes
- We're continuing our work on VisitThem and should be able to support organizational campaigns soon. In the meantime, please check it out at https://www.visitthem.org and let us know what you think.
Nothing new in events, groups, or TakeCharge.
† This feature required new text strings. If you're using the platform in a language other than English, you may need to provide updated translations.
