Platform
Updates / Bug Fixes
- Infrastructure improvements.
- Some pages, notably effort lookup pages, had html leaking from meta content. We've updated the code and these pieces of text are now properly escaped.
Petitions
Updates / Bug Fixes
- We've made some updates to target collections: targets can now exist in more than one collection at a time. Targets can also be moved in and out of collections.
- The Twitter share button in the "just launched" creator tools was not working properly. It is working now.
- When moderating an email as inappropriate, we require admins to provide an explanation of why the email is inappropriate. However, we were briefly not showing that text box to admins. When unsuspecting admins tried to moderate the email, they'd then see an error message. We're now showing you that box right away.
- For organizations that require phone numbers for signatures, and that use ActionKit or Blue State Digital for their CRM, one click signing should work correctly again.
Events
New
- When users RSVP to events, we're now including tokened URLs in confirmation emails. These customized URLs will allow users without full accounts to update their RSVP status.
Updates / Bug Fixes
- On calendar pages we've updated the markers we use on the event map. The smaller markers should make it easier to see when there are a lot of events in a single calendar.
- We've updated the calendar creation process. Admins creating a new calendar will see a short wizard that asks for all required information and will then be prompted to choose additional settings if needed.
- We've redesigned the calendar admin page.
- When a user RSVPs to a private event (that is, an event with a hidden address), we were not updating the event page to show the unmasked address. Instead, the full address of the event was only included in the user's confirmation email. Now, when a user RSVPs they'll be able to see the event address immediately.
TakeCharge
Updates / Bug Fixes
- For organizations using the Stripe API to manage their TakeCharge donations, donations will now be marked with appropriate tags in the API.
VisitThem
New
- Users interested in attending congressional town halls or other events are now asked to complete an RSVP. This information will allow you to better track which members are taking in-person action. Additionally, if the event requires a formal, off-site RSVP, the user will be prompted to submit that RSVP via an embedded iframe or automatic redirect.
Nothing new in groups.
